Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Looking for a unique contract opportunity to make a lasting impact across a diverse student population? This role offers a chance to work as an Occupational Therapist providing services district-wide for K-12 students throughout multiple locations near the Jaffrey, NH area. You will be part of a dedicated team, supporting students as they develop essential skills needed for success within the school environment. In this role, you will work with students across the district for the remainder of the current school year and continue through the 2026/2027 school year. You'll play a critical part in helping students achieve greater independence by evaluating their needs, implementing effective therapy plans, and collaborating with staff and families.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license for New Hampshire Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred Strong understanding of pediatric development and best OT practices for K-12 students Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to various school environments and student needs Comfortable working across multiple locations within a school district
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality OT services to K-12 students across designated schools Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student growth and classroom participation Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Engage in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Adjust and adapt interventions as needed to meet diverse learner needs Enjoy the benefits of a collaborative contract environment where your expertise is valued and you have the opportunity to influence student outcomes in multiple schools.
