Aug 19, 2026 Job Description The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Special Education Teacher in our general special education program at Conant Middle School. This position provides the opportunity to deliver specially designed instruction in accordance with IEP requirements. Highly collaborative work environment. Qualified candidates will have experience or knowledge of differentiated instruction and managing schedules. Desired candidates will demonstrate an understanding of differentiation practices, teamwork, and collaboration.

A NH DOE

certificate to teach K-12 General Special Education certification is required, or the ability to acquire a Statement of Eligibility from the NH DOE. Create:

Accurate and complete student records, reports, and paperwork as required by District, state and federal mandates. Safe, secure, student-centered learning environments. Clear communication of expectations for academic and behavioral achievement. Developmentally appropriate lesson materials to support student success. Collegial relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators, acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner.

Manage:

Complete paperwork and reports within mandated timelines. Data for progress monitoring, using a variety of resources and data tools. Student behavioral needs to maintain safe, productive learning environments. Safe work/educational spaces, integrate training provided by District in appropriate de-escalation techniques. Daily assignments for instructional associates. Support in the input of the evaluative process for instructional associates. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services and/or Building Principal.
