Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This role is perfect for dedicated OTs eager to make an impact with students in a supportive educational environment. Two full-time positions are available, and your unique expertise can help shape positive outcomes for children in need of your care and guidance.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure Experience in school-based OT services, with a solid understanding of IEP processes Previous work in healthcare, home health, or pediatric therapy is highly desirable Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school teams Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to a variety of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs/504 plans Develop treatment goals and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy into daily school routines Contribute to evaluations, re-evaluations, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Provide support and education to staff on OT best practices within the school setting
