Aurora, IL Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Knowledgeable in assessments, IEP development, and providing direct and consultative services for students Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Ability to manage caseloads, track progress, and adapt therapy plans as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based OT services to students as specified in IEPs Conduct assessments and progress evaluations to guide individualized interventions Consult with teachers and parents to promote student participation and success within the classroom Support students in developing or improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state requirements
