School Occupational Therapist - Coos Bay, Oregon

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings, located in Coos Bay, OR. This contract position is designed for professionals experienced in delivering occupational therapy services within educational environments to support student development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs Collaborate with educational staff and families to implement therapeutic interventions promoting students' participation and learning Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy goals as necessary Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and educational standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide strategies supporting student well-being

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in Oregon Experience working in school settings as an OT, familiar with educational and developmental needs of children Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques relevant to pediatric populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to manage case documentation and deliver services in compliance with educational policies
