Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a collaborative educational setting just outside of Peabody, MA. This onsite role is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about making a direct impact on learners with a variety of needs. In this position, you'll work closely with PreK students focusing on social-emotional, behavioral, and elementary ASD development, as well as high school students with ASD. Your expertise will play a crucial role in fostering growth and independence.
Qualifications:
Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts Experience with school-aged children in both PreK and high school settings, particularly ASD and social-emotional/behavioral needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to adapt strategies based on individual student requirements Commitment to onsite, in-person service
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored for students from PreK to high school, with a focus on social-emotional learning, behavioral support, and ASD Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement customized treatment plans Track and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to therapy approaches Participate in team meetings and IEP processes as needed Uphold best practices within an inclusive, collaborative model
