Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist at a respected educational institution near Peabody, Massachusetts. This onsite role is thoughtfully structured over the academic year, from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, offering one consistent day per week—ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and meaningful impact. Key Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing Ability to obtain additional Massachusetts educational certifications as required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting is highly preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for a school environment Dedication to fostering student growth and independence
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver PT services to students as outlined by IEPs or 504 plans Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute clinical expertise to support student outcomes Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing school-based physical therapy Experience the benefits of a streamlined schedule and the fulfillment of empowering students through your clinical expertise.
