Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract role providing occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8. This opportunity focuses on delivering support to a small caseload of nine students with a mix of emotional support and autistic support needs. The position is located near Villanova, PA, with scheduling details and the contract's end date to be determined. You'll make a true difference working within a 6-hour school day, with direct weekly therapy for six students and monthly for three, plus select students receiving additional sessions as recommended.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience or strong interest in pediatric/education settings Familiarity with providing direct support to students with emotional and autistic support needs Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a range of compensatory service requirements Open to new graduates (please note, supervision is not provided) Skilled at communication and collaboration with teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions to a dedicated caseload of K-8 students Work closely with staff to support students' IEP goals, emphasizing functional and academic success Maintain accurate session and progress documentation for each student Consult with educators and families to promote effective carryover of therapy recommendations in the classroom and at home Adjust caseload support (weekly or monthly sessions) as per recommendations and student needs Address and manage compensatory services, ensuring compliance and quality care Envision a role where your expertise truly impacts student progress and well-being.
