Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position involves providing essential occupational therapy services within K-12 settings across several vibrant communities, with openings in four distinct locations. You'll work on-site, supporting diverse caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student growth and participation.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Background in school-based OT services or relevant pediatric experience Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to support students in achieving academic and developmental goals Assess, document, and monitor student progress while maintaining accurate records Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans Travel between assigned school sites as needed (Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, or Whale Branch) Engage with families to support carryover of strategies beyond the school setting What to
