Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations, for students as part of a comprehensive educational plan Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements Collaborate with another onsite Physical Therapist to supervise and support two Physical Therapist Assistants Communicate effectively with educational staff, parents, and other therapy professionals to promote student development Maintain thorough and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with district and federal guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings and offer recommendations for continued student growth

Qualifications:

Current or pending licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required Strong understanding of educational and therapeutic best practices Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Reliable, organized, and able to manage varying caseloads with professionalism Enjoy the flexibility of working 1-2 days per week (8-16 hours, depending on your schedule) during the academic year from August 2026 to May 2027.
