School Physical Therapist | Rancho Santa Fe, California Soliant - 3.9 Rancho Santa Fe, CA Job Details Contract $48.20 - $68.20 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Physical Therapy License Physical therapy Full Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials in California Experience in school-based settings or pediatric care strongly preferred Strong assessment and communication skills when working with children and school staff Ability to adapt interventions for varying age groups and developmental abilities Collaborative approach—willingness to work closely with teachers, support staff, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver physical therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings Support students' participation in classroom activities by addressing mobility or accessibility needs Document progress, maintain student records, and contribute to IEP meetings Educate teachers and family members on strategies to enhance student mobility and function Adapt and modify interventions based on ongoing evaluations of student progress
