Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embrace an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a contract Physical Therapist, supporting pre-K through 12th-grade students with diverse needs. This part-time role runs from now through June 2026, with a strong likelihood of renewal for the following academic year—and potential for expanded hours in the future. Work just 1-2 days per week, enjoying flexibility while providing crucial therapeutic services in a well-established educational environment. What we're looking for: Current Physical Therapy (PT) certification (required) Proven experience delivering therapy in school settings (pre-K-12 preferred) Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Outstanding communication and organizational skills Commitment to every child's physical, academic, and social development A proactive, adaptable approach to caseloads and responsibilities Key responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group therapeutic sessions to meet student IEP goals Assess, document, and monitor students' motor development and progress Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with the multidisciplinary team Educate school staff and caregivers on best practices for supporting students' physical needs Assist with adaptive equipment decisions and training as needed Maintain detailed records and communicate regularly with parents and faculty Take satisfaction in a position with purpose, supporting students as they gain confidence, independence, and new skills.
