Job Description

The Echo Valley School District invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of School Principal at Washington Village School (WVS). WVS is a PK4 school located in the town of Washington, Vermont, with an enrollment of 117 students. We are seeking a student-centered leader who can foster strong relationships, promote high-quality instruction, and ensure a smooth leadership transition for students, families, and staff.

JOB SUMMARY
The school principal is the instructional leader of the school and responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the implementation of all school activities including safety, climate, curriculum, instruction, student support, and finance. This position requires a commitment to racial equity, as well as other forms of education equity around class, ability, language, gender, and sexuality.
