Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in supporting students' success and join a dynamic educational team dedicated to enhancing K-12 learning environments. This contract opportunity is ideal for a School Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites and grade levels, with both full-time and part-time scheduling available to fit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological evaluations for students in kindergarten through 12th grade as part of an itinerant assignment Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP development and reviews Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement strategies that promote student well-being and educational achievement Utilize a range of assessment tools to identify student strengths and challenges Develop and assist in the implementation of individualized educational plans (IEPs) Offer consultation and guidance to staff and families related to learning and behavioral concernsWhat You'll Need:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certification (required) Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting psychoeducational data Familiarity with special education processes, including IEP meetings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and varying caseloads across grade bandsPerks:
