Job Description
Job Summary:
To receive raw materials and load outgoing shipments.Shift:
2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM)Pay:
$18.95/hrRequired Education and Experience:
Prefer minimum high school diploma or GED Valid lift truck certificate One year experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive Knowledge of Quality standards - IATF 16949Critical Success Factors:
Excellent attendance. Good communication and interpersonal skills Fluent verbal/written English skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks Good computer skillsEssential Functions:
Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook Loads and Unloads trucks daily when required Responsible for receiving all incoming material, doing blind tally's as required Performs daily dock audits and reconciles receiving discrepancies Ensures receipt of goods is done accurately and on time per window requirements Maintains product flow at production lines as required Complete necessary paperwork and safety audits of equipment as required Performs min/ max audits (records per GM requirements) and any inventory functions as required Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned Maintain plant housekeeping as required/ Ensures FIFO process is being followed Follows all safety processes and protocol All other duties as requested byTeam Leader Work Environment:
Plant floor - PPE required Involves operating or working near moving mechanical equipment Involves operating a lift truck/hi-lo devicePhysical Demands:
Shift work Adequate vision acuity Frequent long hours and overtime as required Ability to stand up to 12 hours during a work shift Ability to sit for long durations and drive lift truck safelyHealth and Safety:
Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by theCompany Other Duties:
