Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid School Psychologist license/certification for the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain). Proficiency conducting psychological and educational assessments, including cognitive, academic, adaptive, and behavioral evaluations. Experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and best practices for school-based services. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred through the special education process. Develop, write, and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student social, behavioral, and academic needs. Deliver data-driven recommendations to teams and families that guide educational planning. Support district-wide initiatives through collaboration, consultation, and in-services as needed.
