Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise to a district dedicated to student-centered support as a full-time contracted School Psychologist. This rewarding opportunity is available for immediate placement and the upcoming school year. The school, which has been searching for just the right professional for this pivotal role, welcomes candidates either licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure.
Key Qualifications:
Graduate degree (MA, MS, or MEd) in School Psychology or closely related field Eligible for, or holding, certification as a School Psychologist At least three years of experience serving students across all ages Demonstrated skills in assessment, diagnostics, and counseling Commitment to teamwork, communication, and confidentiality
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred by educators or parents, reporting findings efficiently Meet with families to clearly explain assessment results and recommendations Observe students in classroom settings to inform intervention strategies Administer additional age-appropriate assessments as required—including for early childhood Serve as a trusted resource for staff seeking strategies to address diverse student learning needs Participate in CSE, CPSE, and 504 meetings as an active contributor Review and interpret psycho-educational materials and evaluations from other institutions Provide short-term counseling support individually or in small groups Deliver crisis intervention and consultation for urgent student needs Refer students to community or regional supports when beneficial Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and foster a positive work environment Carry out additional responsibilities at the direction of special education leadership If you're ready for a meaningful step in your School Psychology career with an organization eager for your impact, this is your chance.
