Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary-aged students as a School Psychologist with this contract role, located conveniently near Bolingbrook, IL. You'll work onsite (with potential for a hybrid schedule), serving two friendly elementary schools from now through June 1st. The position offers a predictable schedule, running weekdays from 7:45am to 2:50pm (35.7 hours weekly, plus a 45-minute unpaid lunch). You'll manage a manageable caseload of about 30-35 students, focusing on providing high-quality evaluations, facilitating domain meetings, and contributing to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). The schools are seeking someone eager to make a difference, ready to step in, and prepared to interview immediately.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current School Psychologist credential (Illinois licensure or eligibility). Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear reports. Ability to facilitate domain meetings and work collaboratively with staff, families, and related service professionals. Familiarity with MTSS processes and evaluation procedures. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Previous experience at the elementary level.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations. Lead and facilitate domain meetings to develop effective supports. Serve as a resource to faculty and staff in the implementation of MTSS. Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support positive student outcomes.
