Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist looking for a flexible, contract-based role for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers a chance to make a difference by supporting students from preschool through fourth grade with a focus on special education evaluations and psychological services. Key Qualifications:
Master's Degree or higher in School Psychology (or equivalent) Current approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education Demonstrated experience conducting psychological evaluations and collaborating with educational teams Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and flexibly within a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations for students from preschool through fourth grade, with possible focus on grades 1-4 depending on district needs Deliver psychological services in accordance with state and federal guidelines Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff to support student well-being and educational progress Provide clear documentation ensuring timely completion of special education processes Adapt proactively to changes in caseload and district priorities This part-time contract role is set for 21 hours per week, offering options for both onsite and virtual work arrangements to best suit your professional lifestyle.
