Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity to deliver school psychologist services in a supportive educational setting near Ionia, Michigan. This position is slated for the 2026-2027 school year (specific dates to be determined) and can accommodate both onsite and virtual talent. Candidates will work a consistent 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will make a tangible impact by serving students ranging from preschool through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and adapt to varying role requirements as district needs evolve
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services for students across multiple grade levels within the district Conduct special education evaluations and maintain compliance with all timelines and requirements Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families to support students' educational and social-emotional development Document services and evaluations thoroughly, ensuring accurate and confidential records Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment This contract role allows for flexibility in choosing between in-person or virtual work modalities. Your work will support educational growth and well-being for students with a variety of unique needs, while you benefit from a stable weekly schedule. The exact building assignment will be provided at a later date to best align with district requirements.
