Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite, contract opportunity located near Abbeville, SC is available for both part-time and full-time professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in educational settings. In this position, your expertise will foster student growth and promote a healthy school environment. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions—providing assessment, consultation, and support for students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Through collaboration and evidence-based practices, you'll help pave the way for student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification (state-required credentials up to date) Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, behavioral intervention, and report writing Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Your Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support individualized student planning Develop behavioral interventions and strategies for academic and social-emotional growth Consult regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address student needs Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as required Maintain accurate, timely documentation and assessment reports Advocate for student well-being through positive behavioral support
