Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting a local middle school community for the upcoming school year. As a valued team member, you will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to promote students' academic, emotional, and social well-being. Your expertise as a licensed School Psychologist in Illinois will be critical in providing assessments, counseling, and evidence-based interventions to empower students to reach their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials (IL PSYCH) Experience supporting middle school students preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation within educational settings Effective communicator with students, staff, and families Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for eligibility and program planning Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies Develop and monitor IEPs for students with special needs Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives This full-time contract position affords you the chance to make a lasting difference in students' lives while accessing meaningful support, career development, and comprehensive benefits.
