Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of PreK-12 students. A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist, working 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse student population. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help shape positive school experiences and promote student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Credentialed or eligible for certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with PreK-12 students in educational settings Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments Familiarity with developing, implementing, and reviewing IEPs and BIPs Skill in data collection, analysis, and progress monitoring to inform interventions Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment Participate in eligibility determination meetings and prepare detailed reports Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed Provide consultation and support to educators and parents regarding student needs Respond to crises as part of the school's support team Promote positive behavioral, social, and emotional outcomes for all students This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference each day.
