Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist makes a real impact. In this contract opportunity, you'll work full-time, providing dedicated support across a K-12 caseload, all within a welcoming school environment. You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to help students reach their highest communication potential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is essential. Active state licensure to practice as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain it. Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, teachers, and families.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum. Complete assessments, write individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate documentation compliant with district, state, and federal guidelines. Deliver direct therapy, consult with classroom teachers, and provide resources for families. Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed. Support inclusion and advocate for students' needs within the school community.
