Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract position supporting students in the Franklin Park, IL area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! We are seeking a dedicated professional skilled as a School Psychologist to serve in both middle and early elementary settings, making a tangible difference for students and staff. Your primary work week will be split, with three days at a Middle School campus and the remaining two days supporting a K-2 site in the surrounding area. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 22, 2027, aligning closely with the academic calendar. Student instruction begins August 12, and you'll be actively involved throughout the school year on a full-time, 35-hour-per-week contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting student observations as well as initial and re-evaluations (handling approximately 30-40 cases for the new school year). Collaborating closely with special education teams and contributing insights for Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Providing direct support and consultation for teachers, staff, and families. Upholding compliance and reporting practices in accordance with state and district guidelines. Using your PEL endorsement as a school psychologist to promote positive student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Psychology

Previous experience with BIP writing and execution. Excellent interpersonal abilities with a strong foundation in teamwork and collaborative school-based practice.
