Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Envision an opportunity where your expertise transforms the learning environment for students and fosters their academic and personal success. This contract position is designed for a dedicated School Psychologist eager to make a difference within an educational setting. With a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week, you'll have the flexibility to balance your professional life while still impacting students in meaningful ways.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong understanding of psychological evaluation techniques Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies for students Awareness of current best practices in special education support Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standardsKey Responsibilities:
Perform psychological assessments and interpret data for individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective interventions Guide and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding student support Develop and recommend strategies for classroom management and academic achievement Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support plans as needed Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards Stay current with state and federal regulations affecting student servicesBenefits and Perks:
