Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Travel Experience the best of North Carolina living with a travel nursing opportunity in the vibrant Monroe area. In this travel role, you'll work in a dynamic operating environment equipped with the latest technology and supported by an expert perioperative team. Gain exposure to a wide spectrum of surgical cases including cardiothoracic, vascular, orthopedics, general, urology, minimally invasive procedures, GYN, and plastics. Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of specialty operating room experience required
CVOR Tech:
Strong and recent experience with CABG, TAVR, vascular, and thoracic cases Experience scrubbing orthopedic, general, urology, robotic, GYN, colon, breast, spine, podiatry, plastics, and main OR cases Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program (required for Techs) BLS certification required; national certification preferred Open to first-time travelers Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation:
1 week for Main OR, 2 weeks for CVOR (five 8-hour shifts)
Core Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons during a range of cardiovascular and main operating room procedures Maintain sterile technique and compliance with hospital policies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimum patient outcomes Support efficient case flow, turnover, and supply management Adapt swiftly to EMR (Epic), medication dispensing (Omnicell), and monitoring (Phillips) systems
