Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience working in a K-12 educational environment is highly desirable Knowledge of evaluation and assessment tools for students with diverse needs Proficiency with virtual platforms for remote service delivery welcomed Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services for students Participate in student support team meetings to recommend strategies and accommodations Maintain comprehensive documentation and comply with all relevant regulations Contribute to fostering an environment conducive to learning and emotional wellbeing
