Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in students' lives by helping shape their educational and emotional success as a dedicated School Psychologist on a full-time contract. In this rewarding position, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to provide essential psychological services in a school-based setting. Desired Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility in the state Previous experience working in K-12 schools is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and special education regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle a diverse student caseload and adapt to changing priorities Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and interpret results to guide educational planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and supports Offer individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Support crisis intervention, behavior management plans, and mental health programming Contribute to developing positive school environments that foster student growth Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines As a valued school psychologist, you will work in a dynamic educational setting where your professional input truly matters.
