Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in educational communities as a contracted School Psychologist for the 2026-27 academic year. This full-time opportunity (35 hours per week) begins in mid-August 2026 and concludes in early June 2027. Depending on preference and skills, assignments may range from working with junior high (7th-8th grade) to elementary students (K-4). This role offers the chance to support the academic and emotional success of students by collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active School Psychologist certification required Familiarity with IDEA and Illinois state regulations Experience navigating the MTSS process and overseeing special education evaluation timelines Adept at handling Manifestation Determination reviews Skilled at scheduling and leading domain meetings, EDCs (Eligibility Determination Conferences), and ARs (Annual Reviews) In-depth knowledge of IEPs, 504 Plans, and Disproportionality Studies (DS), as well as Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Proficiency with assessment tools and systems such as
Q-global, FastBridge, and Google Docs Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform education programming Guide and support educators and families through the special education process Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines, including timely completion of required documentation Facilitate and participate in team meetings, including IEP, 504, and eligibility conferences Develop data-driven interventions tailored to meet individual student needs You'll have the opportunity to make a difference every day while working alongside passionate professionals.
