Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract position offering the flexibility of part-time work as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Fruitport, MI. This opportunity runs from August 25th through the end of the school year and focuses on providing essential supplemental services to students with diverse behavioral and academic needs across Orchard, Oakridge, and Ravenna. In this role, your expertise will be vital in supporting students onsite 1-2 days each week, helping them reach their educational and personal goals. Your commitment and care will have a direct, positive impact on young learners, their families, and fellow educators.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid credential as a School Psychologist Experience supporting diverse student populations with varying behavioral and academic challenges Strong interpersonal abilities and clear communication skills Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning Proven record of collaborating effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite supplemental psychological services 1-2 days per week Assess and address a range of disability types, tailoring interventions for both behavioral and academic needs Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP meetings Offer consultation and guidance to staff and families regarding student supports and interventions Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with best practices and district protocols This part-time role is ideal for professionals seeking meaningful, in-person engagement with students while enjoying a flexible schedule during the academic year.
