Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students within a high school therapeutic program this summer. This contract position is ideal for a driven, compassionate School Psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. The assignment runs tentatively from June 1st through June 30th, offering the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and contribute to positive outcomes for students.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience in K-12 school settings, preferably with therapeutic or special education programs Strong understanding of school-based assessments, behavior interventions, and individualized supports Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to provide both direct services to students and consultative support to staff
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral and academic intervention plans Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Offer guidance and training to teachers and families on student strategies and supports Maintain accurate records and follow all protocols related to student confidentiality and compliance What You'll Enjoy in
