Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services and special education evaluations in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced and compassionate School Psychologist who thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to supporting the learning and emotional needs of preschool through 4th grade students. The position offers flexibility with both onsite and virtual candidates considered, tailored hours, and a supportive multidisciplinary network.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist Prior experience with special education evaluations (preschool-grade 4 preferred) Strong communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability to work onsite or remotely according to district needs Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and special education evaluations Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Develop data-driven recommendations and intervention strategies for student support Ensure compliance with special education regulations, procedures, and timelines Communicate evaluation outcomes and recommendations to caregivers and staff effectively Contribute to the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Work Details:
