Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist in a welcoming educational community near Chenoa, IL. This role offers a meaningful chance to positively impact student success through valuable psychological support and expertise, working across three school buildings for the full academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid school psychologist certification or license in Illinois. Experience conducting cognitive assessments and educational evaluations. Familiarity with developing, implementing, and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience with K-12 populations preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive testing and comprehensive educational assessments for students in need across kindergarten through 12th grade. Oversee and contribute to the IEP development process in coordination with educational teams and families. Serve as an integral support for students' academic and social-emotional growth within a caseload of approximately 20-25 students. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialized staff to deliver targeted interventions. Maintain accurate student records, data, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
Role Details:
Contract position, August 17th start through May 28th. 35 hours per week; 7:45am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Work onsite across three school buildings, providing hands-on support to the school community. Utilize your expertise to empower students and help shape their educational experience.
