Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity working as a School Psychologist or School Psychologist Intern in a collaborative and supportive educational environment near Colorado Springs, CO. This role is designed for individuals passionate about fostering students' academic, social, and emotional growth, while also supporting educators and families. Your skills in psychoeducational assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies will empower students to overcome barriers to learning and flourish in their school communities. Desired Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist license (or eligibility for licensure) Recent experience or supervised practicum/internship in school settings Strong assessment, data analysis, and intervention planning skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with students, staff, and families Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and student services
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for support Develop evidence-based recommendations and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral, emotional, and social challenges Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being Contribute expertise to school-wide initiatives around positive behavior supports and crisis intervention Maintain accurate and confidential records that adhere to district and legal standards This opportunity provides an excellent pathway for professional growth, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
