Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in a supportive educational environment near Commerce City, CO. This contract opportunity seeks a talented School Psychologist who is passionate about promoting student growth and fostering collaborative partnerships with educators, families, and community members.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Experience performing psychological assessments and developing intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Strong knowledge of evidence-based counseling and intervention methods Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and federal and state regulations Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust to shifting priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies to support student success Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational and behavioral intervention plans Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for accommodations and services Assist with crisis intervention and collaborate on school-wide initiatives supporting positive school climate You will work in a collaborative school setting where your expertise and insight contribute directly to student achievement and well-being.
