Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by serving elementary students as a vital member of a collaborative psychological services team. This contract opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive evaluations, insightful recommendations, and hands-on support in a dynamic educational environment. You'll work closely alongside two other experienced professionals, sharing responsibilities and expertise to best address student needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, especially at the elementary level Strong background in observations, assessments, and developing intervention recommendations Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and student study teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to supporting diverse learners
Your Role Will Include:
Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, focusing primarily on elementary populations but also supporting all grade levels as necessary Participating in school-based observations to gather relevant information and provide targeted intervention strategies Sharing responsibilities and collaborating effectively with two other school psychologists serving the district Engaging actively in IEP meetings and student study team discussions to support the identification and implementation of student support plans Advising and consulting with educators, administrators, and families to foster healthy, supportive learning environments In this role, you will have the opportunity to not only provide critical assessments but also shape interventions that lead to lasting student success.
