Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated school psychologist to support student well-being and academic success in a school setting located in East Saint Louis, IL. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in educational environments by providing psychological services that help students overcome challenges and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students to identify learning and behavioral needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators Provide counseling and guidance to support students' social and emotional development Assist in crisis intervention and develop positive behavioral support strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and compliance with educational regulations Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in accordance with district and legal standards
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist Experience working in school environments with diverse student populations Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, including familiarity with various psychological testing tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
