Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing essential psychological services in an educational setting. This opportunity runs from August 17th through May 28th and entails supporting K-12 students across three school buildings near Gridley, IL. You'll work on-site, engaging with a caseload of approximately 20-25 students. With a 35-hour workweek, your day starts at 7:45 AM and wraps at 3:30 PM, allowing for both impactful work and a healthy work-life rhythm.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist required Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred Proficiency in cognitive and psychoeducational assessment Strong understanding of IEP procedures and compliance Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Familiarity with school-based multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive assessments and interpret results for students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop, revise, and participate in IEP meetings and processes Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to address student needs Provide recommendations for academic, emotional, and behavioral interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school protocols Support best practices for student wellbeing and overall school climate
