Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students Monitoring student progress and adjusting support strategies as necessary Offering guidance on behavior management and learning strategies Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to decision-making processes Desired qualifications include: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within an educational setting Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and families Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
