Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding part-time opportunity as a School Psychologist, serving K-12 students in an itinerant capacity. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while collaborating with dynamic educational teams across the area. With a flexible 20-hour workweek, you'll support the holistic needs of students and promote their academic and personal growth. In this role, you will: Provide psychological services to students in grades K-12 within a variety of school settings. Implement Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to promote student success. Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments. Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Offer recommendations and interventions based on assessment data. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure the best outcomes for every student. Travel to multiple school sites as needed.
Qualifications:
Current Michigan School Psychologist certification required. Demonstrated experience with MTSS frameworks. Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, report writing, and special education eligibility criteria. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment is preferred.
