Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students across K-12 environments in a dynamic, collaborative role as a school psychologist. Positioned near Newark, OH, this itinerant contract opportunity offers a blend of evaluation, consultation, and advocacy work. Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply, ensuring flexibility that supports your work-life balance. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certification required Experience serving K-12 populations in educational settings Strong knowledge of special education processes, assessments, and interventions Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage an itinerant position traveling between school locations Confident in conducting evaluations and contributing to IEP meetings
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results Work directly with students and staff to develop intervention strategies Support the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Communicate findings and recommendations effectively with families and team members Serve as a resource to staff, parents, and students on mental health and learning needs Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations For this role, compensation ranges from $45/hr to $53/hr, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
