Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Put your expertise to work supporting students' growth and success in a thriving educational setting near Elkton, MD. Two contract positions are open for dedicated School Psychologists passionate about making a meaningful impact across elementary and middle school populations. Start as soon as possible and continue through early June, contributing to a team environment that values collaboration and professional skill.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current MSDE certification as a School Psychologist required Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students Proficiency conducting psychoeducational evaluations Comfortable managing a variable caseload, typical evaluations around 70 Ability to provide individual/group counseling services Skilled in participating in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Flexibility to adjust to referral-based workload
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation Interpret results and develop recommendations for interventions or programming Deliver evidence-based counseling services to assigned students Actively participate in MTTS, IEP, and 504 meetings, providing input to inform supports Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with policies and procedures Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student well-being Utilize school-provided laptop and resources for efficient workflow Work on-site; strong preference for in-person support

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Monday-Friday;
Elementary:
8:15-3:45,
Secondary:
