Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students' academic and emotional development as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity positioned near Lindale, TX, is full-time (up to 40 hours weekly) and ideally suited for professionals who thrive working on-site within schools. The role focuses on the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, providing continuity and a valuable experience in a vibrant educational setting.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and consultation within school environments Strong understanding of IEPs, Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education processes Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ethical standards and professional best practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students, interpreting data to support learning and behavioral goals Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and parents to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed Support teachers and staff with behavioral interventions, classroom strategies, and consultation on student needs Maintain detailed documentation aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
