School Social Worker - Coal Center, PA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. An engaging opportunity awaits for a dedicated social worker interested in supporting students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract role focuses on serving a caseload of 12 students at two campuses near Coal Center, PA. You'll play a vital role from June 18 through July 17, 2026, assisting students and collaborating with educators in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for student well-being, and the ability to adapt to varying student needs. This position requires travel between campuses in McMurray and Waynesburg, with inservice on June 18 followed by student programming running weekdays from 8 AM to 12 PM. Please ensure the commute to both locations aligns with your availability.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current PA School Social Worker Certificate required Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with special education or ESY programs, is highly valued Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Flexibility to travel onsite to both campuses Strong organizational skills to manage documentation for a 12-student caseload
