Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students in PreK through 8th grade with a variety of speech and language needs. This full-time opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, allowing you to make a measurable difference in a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an active SLPA certification Hold (or be eligible for) SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), SLP-A, or qualify as a Clinical Fellow (CF) Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but open to new graduates eager to learn Expertise in assessing and treating students with mixed severity communication disorders Strong collaborative and communication skills for working closely with staff, parents, and students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of PK-8 students Assess and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for speech and language goals Document progress, maintain records, and communicate findings with caregivers and educators Collaborate with teachers and school teams to ensure a holistic approach to student development Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development This contract assignment offers a rewarding chance to contribute to children's growth while working with a welcoming team.
