Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) in the vibrant community near Berwyn, IL. Make a difference by helping students develop communication skills critical to their academic and social growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Passion for fostering a positive learning environment Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists Knowledge of developing and implementingIEPs Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and document student performance Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting Provide guidance, tools, and resources to help students succeed in and out of the classroom Stay current with best practices and maintain professional certification This contract role is an excellent fit for SLPs eager to work in a close-knit school setting and see the direct impact of their clinical skills.
