Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students across multiple school settings in Kingstree, SC. The role involves servicing a caseload of fewer than 50 students, spread among 2 to 3 elementary, middle, or high schools, providing diverse and impactful clinical experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. Delivering direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with school policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to program development.
Ideal candidates will have:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or be a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate. Experience or familiarity with school-based speech-language therapy. Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload across multiple schools. Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse student population. A willingness to be interviewed and mentored by the Lead SLP.
