Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with speech-language pathologists and school staff, helping students reach their communication goals and thrive academically and socially. Your experience with school-based speech therapy allows you to deliver individual and group interventions, track progress, and empower students' communication skills. You will work collaboratively in a structured setting, contributing your dedication and expertise through the 26/27 academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current SLPA licensure Previous school-based experience as an SLPA preferred Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents Ability to follow therapy plans and collect accurate progress data Excellent communication, teamwork, and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans designed by supervising speech-language pathologists Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups Assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain records and document therapy activities in compliance with school standards Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
