Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. In this school-based role, you'll provide crucial expertise to help children excel academically and socially through your skills in communication intervention. Collaborate with a dedicated student services team and make a meaningful difference every day.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates also considered Previous school-based experience highly valued Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapies Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those with mild to moderate communication needs Strong skills in collaboration, documentation, and time management
What You'll Do:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-age students Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care Write and maintain progress reports, treatment plans, and IEP documentation Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Provide training or consultation for educational staff as needed regarding communication strategies By choosing this role, you can utilize your expertise in a vibrant school environment, shaping the communication and academic futures of young learners.
